Effective September 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information kxbuild ("we", "us" or "our") processes when you use the KXBuild software, website and Dashboard (together, the "Services"), why we process it, who processes it for us, and how you can manage it.
The highlights
- Your source code, project files and build logs stay on your computer. KXBuild does not upload them.
- The KXBuild software does not collect usage analytics or send crash reports automatically.
- Activating a license uploads your development machine's hardware identifiers, but only as irreversible hashes. The original serial numbers never leave your computer.
- We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Please pay particular attention to the content shown in bold, which covers how we process information such as device identifiers and network location, and how we transfer it across borders. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. It applies together with our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. The email address or phone number and password you provide when you sign up. Passwords are stored only in an irreversibly encrypted form.
- Device information. Your development machine's hardware identifiers (sent only as irreversible hashes), computer name and OS version when you activate or verify a license, and your browser's identifier when you sign in to the Dashboard.
- Network information. Your IP address when you sign in or verify a license, and the approximate city derived from it.
- Transaction information. Records of plan purchases, referrals and credit redemptions. Payments are completed on the payment provider's platform, and we never handle your bank card or other payment details.
- Information you give us. The content and attachments of emails you send us.
We do not collect the following.
- Your source code, project files, build output or build logs. Compiling, signing and debugging all happen on your own computer.
- Feature usage data or crash reports from the software.
- Precise location, contacts, photos or other information unrelated to the Services.
2. When the software connects to the internet
- License verification. Operations that require a license, such as builds, check it online and send the device information listed in section 1.
- Update checks and component downloads. These requests ask only for version information and installers, and carry no account or device information.
- Third-party download sources. Some tools, and the dependencies your project declares, are downloaded from their official sources. Those sites receive your IP address, as with any ordinary web request.
- Debugging on an iPhone and signing apps. KXBuild contacts Apple's servers as part of the standard iOS development workflow and sends the device information required. This information goes directly to Apple and does not pass through our servers.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Services, including creating and managing accounts, activating and verifying licenses, processing orders, and issuing credits and rewards.
- To keep the Services secure, including detecting unusual sign-ins, bulk registrations, abuse of trials and credits, and license code sharing.
- To send service notices, such as email verification codes, order confirmations and important policy changes.
- To provide customer support, including answering your questions and investigating issues you report.
- To comply with the law, including meeting our legal obligations and responding to lawful requests from competent authorities.
If we want to use information for any purpose not described in this Privacy Policy, we will ask for your consent first.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The website and Dashboard use cookies and browser local storage in the following categories.

5.4 Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition or asset transfer, personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you and require the recipient to continue to follow this Privacy Policy.
5.5 Any other case with your consent.
6. Where we store information and international transfers
Your personal information is stored on servers in mainland China. If you use the Services from outside mainland China, your information is transferred to mainland China for processing.
We apply the safeguards required by applicable law to these international transfers.
7. How long we keep information
- Account and device information is kept for as long as your account exists. Records of devices that have been inactive for a long time are purged periodically.
- Orders and transaction records are kept for the period required by law.
When the retention period ends or you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encrypted password storage and access controls.
No system on the internet is perfectly secure. If a security incident such as a personal data breach occurs, we will take remedial action immediately and notify you and the relevant regulators as the law requires.
